Summer Grading

GRADING EXAMINATIONS
No one can grade:

• Without an up-to-date licence.
• Without the permission of your club instructor/Sensei.
• Without completing the relevant lessons for your next grade, and having attended and completed the relevant course.

Junior student (under 16 Years) minimum lessons between grades:

• 24 lessons between grades to 3rd KYU
• 48 lessons between grades 3rd & 2nd KYU
• 48 lessons between grades 2nd & 1st KYU
• 72 – 96 lessons between grades 1st KYU and 1st DAN

Senior student (over 16 years) minimum lessons between grades:

• 24 lessons between grades to 3rd KYU
• 24 lessons between grades 3rd & 2nd KYU
• 48 lessons between grades 2nd KYU & 1st KYU
• 72 lessons between grades 1st KYU & 1st DAN

What you need to bring:

• White Gi with club badge
• A valid licence
• To have completed the correct number of lessons and have agreement from Shihan that you are ready to grade.
• Your safety gear (gloves, pads etc)

Cost:
Seniors: £35
Juniors: £30
Families:
If three family members are grading, you pay for two.
If two family members are grading, you pay for one, and the second family member is half price.

Note: These are guidelines and the minimum requirements set by the WKGB, and may take some students longer to achieve. Black Belt grading is held once a year unless otherwise agreed.
